Next Stops: Sundance, Palo Alto and Berlin

Rodrigo and LeaHappy new year! 2010 has started off with a lot of activity beginning with Park City’s Sundance Film Fest where I will be attending for screenings of The Facts In the Case of Mister Hollow, The Demonology of Desire and The Eyes of Edward James along with films by Floria Sigismondi (Postmortem Bliss), Phil Mucci (The Laughing Dead) and others (Fri Jan 22 and Sat Jan 23; 2:30 pm - 7 pm @ Sidecar Bar 333 Main St. Park City, Utah across the street from the Egyptian).

The presentation will be part of an innovative new happening and will be projected on a series of unusual screens, including a block of ice and a figure drawing salon that will feature a drawing class painting a nude model with the films projected on her back. Should be interesting!

Also look for The Facts In The Case of Mister Hollow screening as part of the Movie Group Matinee on January 31st at 10.30 am at Aquarius Theater (430 Emerson Street, Palo Alto, California).

Screening schedule here.

Lastly, look for me and producer Marco Pecota at the 60th Berlin International Fillm Festival (February 10-21, 2010) where I will be talking about Rue Morgue Cinema projects Cut Throats Nine, Grown Up Suzanne and Weaver Island. More to come!
